I am also working on some Christmas jar toppers things for my wifey. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to keep the edges of the Aida from fraying after I put them on the jars?
Of course I have 5 other projects I have started and plenty in the wings.

Ahhhh the dreaded french knot. Here's a trick if you don't know it already using a milliners needle makes french knots easier to stitch and much neater

Using beads make french knots easier for me, I'm just saying ;-)
You may want to try Fray-check on the edges.
I'm one of those weird people who actually love doing french knots. They're so easy once you get started. I'm looking forward to see it finished.
