Here are my update pics that I promised. Summer Fairy is looking strangely like a belly dancer at this stage. Folk Art Angel #2 is coming along. I tried parking my threads on the blue sleeve to her dress. I am not sure if I like it or not. It sure is faster but it makes translating the chart more difficult for me.
Can't wait for the weekend. Go Oregon Ducks!!!!
Happy Stitching

have a lovely weekend xx
They are both looking great! Hope you have a great weekend with lots of stitching time! Sherry
Very nice progress :)
Good work Chris. I'm a recent convert to parking. LOVE it. It's worth persevering, it will become almost automatic. Certainly makes BAPs move along a whole lot faster..
I do some parking and some not usually depending on whether or not I have gridded and whether I want to count across the page. it is worth ot to do it sometimes.
Great progress on both your projects ;) as for the parking for me it's really useful for big projets full of confetti, but I do have to grid my fabric or I'll be totally lost... but I really advise you to keep up with parking you'll see it saves you so much time and makes your life so much easier as soon as you get used to it ;)
Great progress on both of your projects.
Your stitching is looking great! And yes, she does look a bit like a belly dancer at the moment...how funny! A few more stitches and she'll become the fairy.
Making good progress :) Don't ya just love those JE angels??
Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I will give parking a second chance.
Tammy: I do love almost all of JE's patterns. I do especially love the angels and christmas patterns in general.
What is your favorite JE?
Chris
